I liked the place a lot, I didn't have the highest expectations especially after harbor tandor Or restaurants like karma and Rania in dc, but for the price, the food is great and authentic. Not overly creamy for no reason. Sever was quick, ambiance is very casual. Lunch weekend buffet is like 19 bucks which I thought was very well worth it

Darbar is just around the corner from me and is one of my go-tos for takeout/Indian food. The food is always good and is very reasonably priced. I tend to gravitate toward the paneer tikka masala with garlic naan and it always such a comforting food. This past week I went with a friend to try their weekend buffet special. The cost per person is $18.50 which is reasonable, but I was kind of let down by the buffet. I did enjoy the fact that I was able to try a ton of different items that I am usually not adventurous to try, but overall the food was just alright. I truly judge places on their butter chicken, and I have to say the buffet version that they had was subpar. Additionally, most of the food was barely lukewarm (likely due to not having covers and instead having an open salad bar type of deal) which is a big deal for me because of safety (food should be held over 140F) and that in general I usually like my food to not be piping hot and this still was too cold for me. Overall, I think as a sit down restaurant that Darbar is great, but the buffet is definitely not worth it.

The food was ridiculously good, however it took over an hr to have appetizers brought out to us and even longer for our dinner to be brought out. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and the group was 6 people, so maybe that was it. Although I believe they were heavily focused on getting delivery items out the door more so taking care of the in-house seated guests. Overall, food was great.

Came here again tonight. We brought our son who is 12. He has started getting more adventurous with food. He now loves Indian spices, naan, and basmati. Thanks Darbar! We got the punjabi samosa chaat, seafood duo, paneer tikka masala, garlic & cheese naan, garlic/chili/cilantro naan. Love the complimentary glass of wine with dinner. We also can't say enough about the service! It's always stellar. Great location and relaxed atmosphere. A regular local rotation for us! Must try in Baltimore.

I couldn't resist taking a bite before taking a photo of the delicious food! Today I was in a mood for a quick snack and craving classic, cozy, street food :) The food was delicious and spicy! I ordered these items to go and pick up was smooth and easy. I have yet to dine into the restaurant, so I am looking forward to that soon, but the ambience inside looked welcoming and warm.

First time ever trying Indian food for myself, and I was pleasantly surprised. My husband and a close friend joined me here for dinner, and we ordered family style as suggested by my friend. Waitress was great and attentive as we tried describing a dish we had previously had and wanted to get but couldn't find on the menu. She suggested the potatoes and cauliflower with curry styled sauce, which was similar to the dish my husband wanted. We didn't want to have food like butter chicken that we all had tried before, so we branched out some in our pickings but still kept the spice level mild to medium in most dishes. The best part of the meal was the garlic Naan bread that was insanely good. The entrees were great as well, but I have no idea what we ordered. The pictures provided will have to be the most info I can give. We enjoyed the complimentary wine with dinner, too! There's a decent amount of street parking right in front of the restaurant. We would definitely return here for another visit! Jake n kevin

The portions of their takeout orders have improved dramatically. Food is always delicious and piping hot. You can always choose your spice level, which is a plus. On the higher end of options, but this is my go to Indian takeout in the city.

Great Indian food at a solid price! Good location in Fells point, hard to find parking, but can sometimes find free parking on the streets nearby Got some food to split among three! We got three entrees, and they were definitely more than we needed and we had some to take home! I expect their takeout is great and I look forward to getting some when I can! The saag paneer and daal was delicious and I would recommend! The malai kofta wasn't the best I've had, but it was solid. The garlic naan was also incredible. The inside is well decorated, and cozy!
